My name is Peter Ivancak, a passionate astrophotographer and general practitioner based in Prague, Czech Republic. For me, astrophotography is more than just a hobby — it is a way to relax while uniting the beauty of the unknown with high-end technology, science, mathematics, and art.

I still remember the first time I looked at Jupiter through a telescope in the heart of the city — a glowing world suspended in space, surrounded by its moons. I could hardly believe that such a sight was truly possible.

Thanks to modern technology, the wonders of the cosmos are now within reach of anyone — visible from our gardens, balconies, or almost anywhere under the night sky.

My dream is to inspire others through astrophotography and to share those unforgettable moments when one realizes that “the truth is in the stars.”
